The Hotpoint AH12H07D2B PTAC comes equipped with a 15 amp, 208/230 volt power cord and requires a grille and wall sleeve for new installations. However, existing grilles and sleeves may suffice when upgrading, benefiting from Hotpoint's extensive experience in the appliance and comfort control sectors.

Owners and operators enjoy versatile temperature control options, with four settings available for optimal comfort and efficiency. Hotpoint integrates an Intuitive Display feature, facilitating easy customization of settings through soft touch controls on the panel. Indicator lights and an LCD display provide clear readings of mode, fan speeds, and temperature in both Fahrenheit and Celsius.

In the event of power outages, Hotpoint PTAC units include Auto Power Recovery, automatically resuming operation in the last used mode once power is restored. Additionally, Freeze and Frost Protection features safeguard the unit by monitoring coil temperature, temporarily halting compressor activity until coils warm to prevent potential damage.

Hotpoint PTAC units are equipped with a nine-point diagnostic code system for swift identification of service requirements. Additional features include remote thermostat capability, centralized desk control options, easily removable filters for hassle-free upkeep, and a tangential fan design that ensures smooth and quiet airflow.

The AH12H07D2B model functions as a cooling unit with a heat pump and electric backup heating, delivering 7,200 BTUs of cooling power and an additional 6,000 BTUs from the reverse cycle heat pump. With an impressive 11.9 EER rating and 3.4 COP, it efficiently meets both cooling and heating demands. The 15 amp power cord supports 2.5 kW of electric backup heating, meeting rigorous standards for use in California and Washington.
